How ITDA group buys work, from posting to shipping.
What is ITDA?
A group buy that opens on request. Post the Korean product you want; when enough people want it, ITDA negotiates the price with its Korean maker or brand, and that company sells to the group directly. Pay only when it opens. ITDA connects you directly with the maker or brand.
How is it different from Korean shopping sites?
Those sites are resellers: they buy from the maker and sell to you with a markup. On ITDA the maker or brand itself sells to the group, at a price negotiated for your volume. There is no importer or reseller in between.
How does it work?
Three steps: post, gather, negotiate. Post a product or tap ‘I want this too’ on one that's there. When enough people want it, ITDA agrees price, minimum quantity and timing with the brand or maker and emails everyone who wanted it. You order then, and it ships from Korea.
Do I pay when I post or tap want?
No. Posting and wanting are free and don't commit you to anything. Payment happens only after a deal is negotiated and you choose to order.
Why is it cheaper?
Importers, distributors and retailers each add a margin. On ITDA the maker or brand sells to the group directly and ships grouped by area. We aim for about 20% below the current price; the final price is set in negotiation.
Is it authentic?
Yes. ITDA deals only with the actual maker or the brand owner, verified through company filings and official sources, and the seller is named on every deal page. No marketplace sellers, no parallel imports, no knock-offs.
Will I get the exact product I asked for?
Yes. We negotiate for that exact product with its brand or its maker. If a different maker offers its own version, it's shown as a separate product under that maker's name, never swapped in.
Why do you ask for my email and ZIP code?
Email verifies you and lets us tell you when a deal opens. ZIP lets us count people near you and group shipping by area. We don't send marketing and never share either with brands, makers or anyone else.
How is it shipped?
The maker or brand ships, grouped by area to keep shipping low. Shipping cost, duties and timing are stated with each deal before you order. Some categories (electronics, alcohol, medicine) can't be shipped.
What if not enough people order?
If the minimum quantity isn't reached, the deal doesn't ship and any order is cancelled at no cost.
I'm a Korean brand or maker. Can I join?
Yes. Email us and we'll show you the demand we've gathered for your products in the US and agree terms.
